Lib Dems to 'end continual erosion' of council funding

Lib Dems would ‘end the continual erosion’ of local government funding if they win power at the General Election, the party’s manifesto has pledged.

The party’s manifesto also committed to a ‘real increase’ in funding for the sector throughout the next Parliament, reinstating what has been cut from public health budgets and allocating additional cash to ‘end the crisis’ in special educational needs and disabilities.
