MPs to examine devolution progress

Progress on devolution in England will be scrutinised by a new Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee inquiry.

MPs will look at the impact of recently-agreed devolution deals, and ask if the transfer of further powers to England’s cities and regions can boost local economies and the provision of public services.
