'No appetite for fiscal devo,' says pollster

There is no public appetite for fiscal devolution, according to leading pollster Ben Page. 

The Ipsos MORI chief executive told the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s (CIPFA) virtual conference today: ‘If you ask people in England, do you want your local authority to have the ability to raise taxes, even as modestly as the Scottish Government is able to, the answer is no.’
