Ombudsman suspends cases

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has suspended all cases that require input from councils and care providers.

It is the first time in the body’s 45-year history that it has taken the step, as councils focus on delivering frontline services during the coronavirus outbreak amid a public lockdown.
