Select committee launches cladding inquiry

The Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee has launched a new inquiry into the pace of removing dangerous cladding from high-risk buildings across the country.

MPs have called for more government funds to be released to pay for the replacement of flammable aluminium composite material (ACM) cladding similar to that involved in the Grenfell Tower fire.
