Shared Prosperity Fund consultation to start 'very shortly'

Consultation on the post-Brexit replacement for European structural funding must happen before the Spending Review, a minister has said.

The local government sector has repeatedly pressed the Government to bring forward plans for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with the cut-off for EU funding of local development projects looming at the end of next year.
