South-east in plea for funding ‘fairness’

A plea has been made from the south coast for ‘fairness’ over Government pledges to ‘level up’ the north.

Deprived areas in the south-east urgently require investment as much as northern England, argued the chairman of Greater Brighton City Region, Cllr Daniel Humphreys.
