Councils need to wean themselves of COVID cash to fund social care before it runs out at the end of June, a director has warned.
Director of health and wellbeing at Bradford City Council, Iain MacBeath said: ‘It is time to stop buying [hospital] beds without a real plan to rehabilitate people and instead to provide the services that enable people to stay at home or return home.
