Members of trade union Unison have voted by 63.5% to 36.5% to accept the national employers’ final pay offer for local government services employees.
Employers have put forward a flat rate pay rise of £1,925, saying this would give the lowest paid workers a double-digit pay increase, and an extra day of holiday to all staff.
