Voter ID pilots face legal challenge

A formal legal challenge to the Government’s voter ID trials has been lodged at the High Court by lawyers representing campaigner Neil Coughlan.

Mr Coughlan lives in Braintree, one of the areas where the Government plans to trial the scheme in May’s local election.
