Birmingham City Council’s mammoth equal pay bill could rise further if it fails to meet a tight deadline to fix the issue.
The £750m equal pay bill that emerged last month relies on the council completing a job evaluation study, creating a new pay structure and implementing new terms and conditions by 1 April 2025.
