Wirral appoints Staffs CC deputy as new chief executive

Wirral MBC has appointed Staffordshire CC deputy chief executive Eric Robinson as its new chief executive, following the departure of Graham Burgess.

Mr Robinson, who was previously director of social services at Cambridgeshire CC and Enfield LBC has a strong background in transformation and improvement work.

He sits on the ministerial steering group for commissioning and is helping the Cabinet Office and the Department for Education develop new ways of delivering children’s services.
