With good progress now made and on-going continual improvement, this is an exciting time to join Kent as an Assistant Director. We need the best leaders possible to realise our ambition to be a good and then outstanding authority for Children's services, making this post very important to us.

A qualifed social worker, you will have signifcant experience of operational management within the public or voluntary sector together with the ability to translate strategic policy initiatives into effective professional practice. Good stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills are all key to the role.
