Some 18 months ago, I wrote an article on how to develop an AI use policy, which generated a significant interest. Since then, the pace of change has been rapid, so it is worth revisiting the topic with some updated guidance.
In my previous article, I explained how AI in the workplace could be a shadow activity, as employees experimented with AI tools often without their employer's full knowledge. Today, AI is no longer something that happens in the background. Most organisations accept that staff will use it and are turning their attention to how best to control its use.
