WORKFORCE

Black Country Transport Director

Transportation, Regeneration and collaboration.

The Association of Black Country Authorities have just created a new, combined, strategic role designed to focus on the effective delivery of a coherent and strategic transport policy that will raise the region's profile as it seeks to develop its prosperity and sustainability.

Based at Wolverhampton's Civic Centre and reporting to the City's Chief Executive, you will be expected to work with the transport teams across each of the four authorities to ensure a joined-up approach aimed at increasing the region's capability to compete for funding and to develop the capacity for effective regeneration and economic development from future projects and schemes.

You will need to evidence a strategic transport understanding together with a track record of delivery on key projects and in developing teams.

If you can meet the challenge of getting our wheels in motion, contact Sophie Rees on 0113 205 6280 or David Slatter on 0121 644 5704 at our recruitment partners GatenbySanderson for a confidential discussion. Alternatively, to apply or for further information visit our website.
