Brighton businesses agree deal to curb 'chuggers'

Brighton and Hove's Business Improvement District has agreed with the PFRA to manage street fundraising.

Brighton and Hove's Business Improvement District (BID) has reached an agreement with the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association to manage street fundraising – dubbed ‘Chuggers' – in the city.

The deal will limit the number of fundraisers in the city and where they can operate, including a ban in the famous North Laines area.
