The Government has been urged to lift the council tax referendum limit to help local authorities hit by the fair funding review.
Responding to a consultation on proposals put forward by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, a host of sector bodies pressed for more control over council tax for those that expect their share of grant funding reduced.
