Cardiff chief executive to join private sector

Cardiff City Council chief executive Jon House has announced he is to leave the authority in the summer to join consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Cardiff City Council chief executive Jon House has announced he is to leave the authority in the summer to join consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Former policeman Mr House, who worked previously at Bristol and before that for the police in Sheffield, joined Cardiff in 2010, replacing Byron Davies.
