Private companies providing care services have taken more than £250m in profits in just three regions of England in the last three years, new research has found.

Private companies providing care services have taken more than £250m in profits in just three regions of England in the last three years, new research has found.

The report, published this week, found that in the North East, South Yorkshire and the West Midlands over a third of the companies running care services are owned by private equity firms, companies based in tax havens, or both.
