Young people with mental health problems are receiving inappropriate and inadequate care, according to the Children's Commissioner for England. In a report published this week, Professor Sir Albert Aynsley-Green said there was a continuing shortage of hospital beds and facilities, poor provision of emergency care, a lack of safety and security, and insufficient educational and recreational opportunities.
