WORKFORCE

Chief Executive, Herefordshire

Experience Herefordshire as a vibrant, entrepreneurial and pioneering place to be. Our integration with the NHS in Herefordshire was ground-breaking; with the NHS we have integrated provision through the establishment of an ICO; launched Hoople, an innovative joint venture company to deliver business support services; and we have been forging ahead with the regeneration of Hereford.

As Chief Executive of Herefordshire Council, you will ensure that we realise the benefits of working in partnership on locality-based initiatives for the citizens we serve. You will ensure that we are efficient and effective; meeting the aspirations and needs of our diverse communities. You will also lead the transformation of the organisation creating a can-do attitude, and influence the work of our partners to ensure that the whole truly is greater than the sum of its component parts. Great things are expected of us from within and beyond the County; you'll make sure that we have the profile and capacity to succeed.

As a strong, collaborative and engaging leader with huge amounts of energy, drive and fresh thinking, you will already be operating in a senior leadership role. You will bring a good understanding of the range of services we provide, be politically astute and combine a focus on the big picture with a grasp of the detail of delivery.
