WORKFORCE

Chief Executive

With the impending retirement of our current Chief Executive we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a strong record of achievement in senior roles to build on this authority's well-documented success.

Over the years we have forged a reputation as a very effective, well managed and forward looking Council which is also a friendly and supportive place to work. Only someone with exceptional leadership and strategic management skills will be able to meet the demanding specification for this role. Are you that person?

Clearly the successful applicant will have an impressive track record, ideally gained in a comparable organisation. Above all else, they must have the flair, drive and character to inspire and develop the staff and the organisation; to work effectively with the Leader and Cabinet and to continue to deliver a range of excellent services throughout the District.

Closing date: January 20th 2012. The selection process will take place between Monday February 20th and Friday March 2nd and will involve a first interview and an Assessment Centre. To arrange an informal discussion please contact the Chief Executive's Personal Assistant, Jane Polden on 01243 534709.

Please go to this link . For a full job pack please contact the Personnel section on 01243 534526 or email here.
