Chief Officer Adult Social Care Reform

(Temporary up to 3 Years)

The Chief Officer Adult Social Care Reform is strategically responsible for delivering change across Adult Social Care by championing and leading the community transformation programme in partnership with colleagues in the City Council, the VCFS and Health.

You will be the principal advisor on the legislative and technical requirements of Adult Social Care reform with responsibility for leading staff delivering programmes of work designed to deliver our transformational change agenda. You will represent the city on Social Care Reform issues working closely with key partners at a local and national level.

You will be expected to demonstrate success in leading and managing change to achieve high quality service outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate the skills and experience required to lead transformation programmes. You will have a proven track record of working successfully within a political environment with the ability to develop practical and creative solutions to service and corporate challenges. You will also be able to demonstrate partnership working to deliver improved outcomes for citizens, customers and stakeholders in a time of unprecedented change.
