Leading figures from the local government sector were among those awarded the most prestigious titles in King Charles' Birthday Honours.

Andrew Christie, who was a children's commissioner at North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire Councils and chair of Birmingham Children's Trust was recognised with a knighthood.
