A watchdog has intervened after Perth and Kinross Council was found to have abolished a director-level post ‘without a single record being kept’.

A watchdog has intervened after Perth and Kinross Council was found to have abolished a director-level post ‘without a single record being kept'.

It has resulted in the Scottish Information Commissioner issuing the first-ever practice recommendation to a Scottish public authority for ‘poor record keeping'.
