Councils at the centre of Government plans to increase the use of former military barracks to house asylum seekers have raised concerns over the strategy.

Defence secretary John Healey has confirmed the Government is looking at expanding the use of RAF and other military sites as it looks to end the use of hotels for asylum seekers.
