ICT Network Manager

Bedford Borough Council seeks a Network Manager to be responsible for the
Council's voice and data network operation (WAN/LAN/VPN/broadband) operating
across the Council from Borough Hall.

You will manage a small team of engineers responsible for stability, availability
and improvement of the Council's network using your skills and understanding of
networks. You will be a hands-on manager with an experienced background in ICT
networks and retain a broad technical understanding of the technologies deployed
in the industry.

We are searching for a Network Manager who has a background and experience
in large scale projects with an ability to work on their own initiative and make
high impact decisions with regard to the Council's network. You will ideally hold
certified qualifications and have gained substantial experience as a Network
Manager in a hands-on capacity including stakeholder engagement and senior
management reporting.
