Tewkesbury Borough Council is changing its organisational structure to deliver greater effi ciency and fl exibility and provide increased focus on the council's priorities. This is an exciting time to be joining the council as you will help implement the council's new structure and as part of the corporate leadership team drive forward the council's Council Plan agenda together with members, staff and partners.

The borough is a vibrant and successful area of north-west Gloucestershire and faces the challenge of maximising the benefi ts of signifi cant growth while enhancing the quality of life in our market towns and villages and retaining our beautiful landscape. The council is working in partnership with other councils, the LEP and our communities to secure economic success and make the borough a place where a good quality of life is open to all.

We are looking for a high performing and motivational senior leader to work with the chief executive and elected members to provide strategic leadership as part of the new management structure. You will have a proven track record at senior management level across a broad range of services in a political environment. You will be a good communicator and be highly capable of inspiring and developing others. Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate effective delivery of outcomes through partnerships.

This is a demanding role, but it offers a great opportunity to really make a difference on behalf of the people of the Borough of Tewkesbury.
