'Difficult decisions' in store as LEPs axed

Replacing Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) will not be easy, the Government has been warned.

Replacing Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) will not be easy, the Government has been warned.

The LEP Network has met with Whitehall officials to discuss Government proposals to end funding for the organisations next year and transfer responsibility for supporting local economies to councils.
