Director of Asset Management - Director of Corporate Services

The Housing Executive is currently the regional strategic housing authority for Northern Ireland and is a Non Departmental Public Body reporting to the Department for Social Development. 

We are the largest landlord of social housing in Northern Ireland with a budget of £660 million and 3,200 staff. We work in partnership with others to improve homes and communities across all tenures. 

A major social housing reform programme has recently been announced which will create new organisational models for the delivery of housing functions in Northern Ireland. This will impact on the current role and structure of the organisation. In this challenging climate we wish to appoint Director of Asset Management to join and work effectively with our senior management team based in our headquarters in Belfast. Given the changing environment there is flexibility in the type of contract on offer. 

Director of Asset Management
Salary £66,365 - £86,303 Ref: 2013-64 

This new post gives greater focus to managing the considerable assets of the organisation. As Director of Asset Management you will have proven ability to develop and implement strategic asset management initiatives. With a staff of 600 and a budget of £150m you will have responsibility for the strategic leadership and operational delivery of a range of services including technical policy and standards, planned and response maintenance programmes, contracts and contract management, and the organisation's Direct Labour Organisation. As part of the senior management team you will contribute to the change process and prepare for transition to new longer term structures. 
 

Director of Corporate Services
Salary £66,365 - £86,303 Ref: 2013-63

As Director of Corporate Services, you will provide strategic leadership for five important areas: business planning; internal audit; information technology; legal services; procurement. With responsibility for 270 staff, you will be strongly committed to ensuring effective systems for managing and delivering high quality cost effective services whilst helping prepare the organisation for the future.
