Director of Business Transformation Cambridge City Council

Director of Business Transformation Cambridge City Council

The biggest change you'll ever make.

Cambridge is a beautiful city. Steeped in history. Alive with social diversity. Culturally mesmerising. And literally bursting with economic growth and opportunity. And right at the very heart of it all are the Officers and Councillors of Cambridge City Council. We want you to come and join that team.

As Director of Business Transformation you'll be using your exceptional people skills to implement the business improvements and changes needed to transform the Council and to support the City's success.

With your ability to look beyond the here-and-now, you'll plan the Council's future resources to match the Council's ambitions. And using your commercial expertise you'll help maximise assets and look for new ways to generate income.

You will be a key player in the team providing collective leadership for the council, and we'll look to you to transform the council's back office support services and to maximise the resources to support business transformation across all other parts of the organisation.

Someone of your calibre should have a proven track record of managing significant change and influencing organisational culture at a senior level in a large, complex organisation.

As well as a relevant degree or professional qualification, we'd also expect you to have experience in collaborating in a multi-disciplinary management team and strategically aligning financial resources with people resources, ICT and other assets to achieve our desired outcomes.
