The safeguarding of children and young people in Nottingham will be your key priority, underpinning the management of a diverse range of services. As a member of the Children and Families Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership for Children's Social Care, Duty, Children in Care and Safeguarding Services.

With experience and success in delivering high quality Children's Social Care services, the successful applicant will have proven experience of working in partnership, be able to demonstrate credibility with Social care colleagues and be ambitious for Nottingham and its children. You will strengthen the Council's community leadership role by shaping services, inspiring agencies and partners towards local actions to achieve community plans.

With an appropriate Social Care qualification (CQSW, CSS, DipSW), we are looking for an exceptional individual who will bring significant technical knowledge, highly developed communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, with experience of initiating and leading cultural change at a senior and strategic level.
