WORKFORCE

Director of Finance

Watford and Three Rivers Councils are leading the way in Shared Services. As part of an ambitious and regionally unrivalled change programme, we've brought together several key services.

Joining us as Hertfordshire's first shared Director of Finance, you'll bring to this pivotal role an approach that's as imaginative, flexible and entrepreneurial as our own.

You'll lead, develop and improve the shared Finance and Revenues & Benefits services. As Section 151 Officer, you'll share your expertise in financial planning, control and reporting.

And, as a member of the senior management teams of both Councils, you'll share ideas for shaping wider strategic objectives - always matched perfectly to the finance required.

To join us, you'll need impressive, relevant credentials. Politically astute, you're an influential and motivational senior leader with strong knowledge of both the public sector and the financial arena.

For an informal discussion, please contact David Gardner. Tel: 01923 727200. For an application pack please visit our website or telephone: 01923 776611(24 hours).

Closing date: Midnight Sunday 10 February 2013. Strongly committed to equality of opportunity in employment and in service. We encourage applications from all sectors of the community.
