Social housing tenants who are parents of persistently anti-social children should be evicted from their homes, former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith's think-tank has proposed.

The Centre for Social Justice, which Duncan Smith chairs, claimed the measure was needed due to a failure of councils and police to tackle anti-social behaviour that has created ‘consequence-free zones' in some areas.
