Councils preparing for reorganisation have been urged to focus on delivering better services for communities rather than obsessing over structures and geography.
Speaking at The MJ Future Forum Midlands, director of place at Derbyshire CC, Chris Henning said conversations need to take place at service level free from ‘big, political, scary' considerations.
