The future looks extremely bright at Gloucester! Great strides have been made over recent years, with many millions invested in the development of the City and several major sites underway.

The City Council has full responsibility for the delivery of the City's regeneration and we are now seeking a dynamic and energetic professional to continue its' transformation. You will develop, plan and implement strategies and schemes that bring together the built environment,economy and culture of the City. Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, you will create strategies, and deliver projects that strengthen the City's economy and transform its infrastructure.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will act as the council lead on major schemes, asset and property management and economic development. The role sits at the heart of an important phase of growth and development of Gloucester and is critical to the achievement of Gloucester's potential.

You will have a clear understanding of how regeneration links to the economy and to local communities, with a successful track record in regeneration, together with a 'can-do', results orientated approach. You will need a thorough understanding of commercial development and investment, and any private sector experience would be welcomed.
