The successful candidate will play a key role in developing: media relationships, effective communications strategies for internal and external use, innovative social media networks whilst supporting and contributing to brand development.

As Head of Communications you will have a vital role in securing positive community engagement and promotion of the Council's vision whilst ensuring a business critical overview throughout.

With previous experience in a similar role and having worked within a large organisation, you must demonstrate drive, ambition and the ability to suceed in a challenging environment.
