Three Heads of Service within the Council have been promoted to Director
level positions and the Council is looking to fill these positions – two within
the Education, Culture and Sport Directorate, and the third within the Social
Care and Wellbeing Directorate - we are looking for ambitious, creative and
passionate people to join us to take on the challenge of the following roles:

EDUCATION, CULTURE & SPORT DIRECTORATE
Head of Communities, Culture
and Sport - £77,937
You will be responsible for community learning, delivery of cultural opportunities and strategic development of sporting provision. This exciting role involves planning for leisure, culture and learning, adding a significant contribution to the quality of life of our community. You will also ensure effective partnership working with the voluntary sector and local and national bodies with an interest in culture and sport. Building social capital and contributing to economic sustainability are key to the role.
