Head of Community

Full-Time 37 Hours Per Week.

Following the recent organisational restructure at Oadby and Wigston Borough Council we are looking for a strong natural leader to take charge of this new diverse role as Head of Community.

This new post will lead on developing and delivering strategic and operational corporate asset management including the delivery of the business plan for the Council's housing portfolio under the new self financing regime.

You will also have the overall responsibility for tenancy management, community safety and cohesion, and developing joint working with partners including the voluntary sector.

The successful candidate will have a proven successful track record and background of consistent achievement as a senior manager who, as a positive leader, can effectively manage and motivate a diverse team and work proactively with other partnering organisations.
