WORKFORCE

Head of Economic & Community Development

North Norfolk is unrivalled as a place to live and work. An area of outstanding natural beauty, the quality of life is excellent with mile after mile of stunning countryside, unspoilt coastlines and beaches, yet still within easy reach of the bustling, cosmopolitan city of Norwich. Reporting directly to the Corporate Leadership Team, this is an exciting opportunity for two dynamic team leaders with experience of successful partnership working, strategy development and project delivery to join the newly constituted senior management team in each of these key roles.

Leading the economic development, strategic housing, and planning policy functions, this post will be key to delivering the Council's priorities of job creation and housing delivery. You will be creative and innovative in your thinking, developing integrated strategies whilst championing the delivery of projects that will strengthen the local economy and regenerate our market towns.

Working closely with communities you will develop excellent relationships with key stakeholders and positively engage with our communities in seeking to accommodate new growth and development. In our coastal communities you will work collaboratively in taking forward an integrated approach to coastal zone management.
