Three Heads of Service within the Council have been promoted to Director
level positions and the Council is looking to fill these positions – two within
the Education, Culture and Sport Directorate, and the third within the Social
Care and Wellbeing Directorate - we are looking for ambitious, creative and
passionate people to join us to take on the challenge of the following roles:

Head of Education, Culture and
Sport – Resources - £77,937
You will have responsibility for the development of the Education, Cultural and Sport infrastructure. This role will lead on the commissioning of education and community services as well as the development of service planning, alignment of systems and measurement of impact. This includes the maximisation and efficient use of budgets and resources and leads on cross directorate resource management. Experience at senior management level within a large multi-functional organisation is essential, as is the ability to work across teams and services to improve outcomes for our communities.
