WORKFORCE

Head of Streetpride and Greenspace

For some time now, Coventry City Council has been on a journey of progress. Today, we lead the way for modernised working and best practice.

What we now need is a tireless champion for street based services across the City and in the many parks and cemeteries. You'll lead the development of a range of policies and initiatives, all designed to deliver ongoing improvements and outstanding, customer-focused services. Strategic planning and financial management will feature too, as you turn our recent considerable investment for Olympic football in the City, into meaningful changes as part of the Olympic legacy.

Succeed, and you'll create a cleaner, greener city for the hundreds of thousands of people who live, work and visit here.

A visionary and strategic thinker with broad experience within cleansing, grounds, parks or bereavement services, you're more than up to the challenge. You have a strong record of delivering improvements and inspiring change and can innovate and adapt within legislative boundaries. A proven manager of budgets, projects and people, you're also comfortable running operational services and keeping them focused on the customer.

Above all, you must have the drive needed to turn your boldest ideas into reality. To find out more and apply, visit this link.

Closing date: Friday 10th August. Interview date: Monday 20th August. Previous candidates need not apply.
