A host of former and serving Labour councillors have received peerages.
Mayor of Lewisham LBC Brenda Dacres, London Assembly chair Len Duvall and Brent LBC councillor and head of the Labour Group office at the Local Government Association, Shama Tatler, have all been awarded peerages.
