Pupils who struggle at school are more than twice as likely as ‘successful' pupils to grow up lacking a daily routine or structure – such as regular bed times and set meal times – according to The Prince's Trust charity.
Publishing its annual Youth index survey last week, the charity – established by Prince Charles in 1976 – revealed more than one-quarter (26%) of those with lower school grades felt their days ‘lacked structure and direction', compared with one in 10 young people, overall.
