A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced L&D specialist who can demonstrate a real flair and passion for Learning and Development to work on a permanent full time basis across both Council's.

The Learning and Development team consists of the L&D Manager, E-Learning Officer and an L&D Support Officer.

You will need to develop and deliver a joint strategic Learning and Development Strategy and Plan, implement learning programmes and activities for all roles, ensuring that these are aligned with both organisation objectives and employees needs. Someone who loves to see employees of all levels improve throughout their work life cycle.

In this exciting and challenging role, you'll ensure that our people receive highly effective training and development through collaboration with stakeholders to achieve the Workforce Development Plan. You will need to analyse training needs, establish programmes and monitoring the effectiveness of various activities. Proven experience of devising training and development solutions to help manage change will be vital as will your innovative approach.

There will be an element of travel with this role between the two organisations based in Winchester and Eastleigh and flexibility is key.
