The Local Government Association (LGA) is in talks with No10 North on developing a ‘strategic partnership'.
LGA chair Cllr Eamonn O'Brien told this week's meeting of the councillors' forum it was ‘about getting our voice much more central in the process on the issues that matter to us'.
