Local authority third-party spend rose by 10% on 2021 to £82.7bn in 2023, with vulnerable citizens and public health (41%) and buildings (24%) the largest categories.

Local authority third-party spend rose by 17% on 2021 to £82.7bn in 2023, with vulnerable citizens and public health (41%) and buildings (24%) the largest categories.

The findings came in the Local Government Third-Party Spend Almanac published by Oxygen Finance.
