MANAGER - STRATEGIC ASSETS

Employer: Mendip District Council

Salary: Up to £41,771 per annum

This is an opportunity for a dynamic business minded individual to join a Council which has been on a remarkable journey of improvement over the past 2 years.

Recently the Council has made significant progress in the management of its property and assets, and a corporate priority of the Council is to continue with this development.

In this role you will be supporting the Corporate Manager - Governance, Assets and Public Spaces by managing a progressive and forward thinking team working on a variety of exciting, challenging and commercially driven projects. You will have a principal role in leading the Council's current transformation plans and also act as the Council's Corporate Property Officer.

Experience in the public sector is not essential, but you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the local government environment and the challenges of working in a complex organisation.
