Labour’s North East Mayor Kim McGuinness has called on her Government to accelerate devolution by handing regions greater powers over housing, employment and taxation.

Labour's North East Mayor Kim McGuinness has called on her Government to accelerate devolution by handing regions greater powers over housing, employment and taxation. 

Mayor McGuinness wants regional mayors to be allowed to introduce a tourist tax and be given greater powers over post-16 training.
