We need to measure prevention spend

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy will seek to answer how much are we currently spending on prevention, says chief executive Rob Whiteman.

Right now, 2.5 million people are out of work due to ill health.

And with nearly eight million people on NHS waiting lists, preventative measures have fallen through the cracks.
